Today Global Developers, under the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ scheme at Utsav City, Shivkar, Panvel, has taken steps towards educating the girl child and supporting them to achieve their goals in life. On 3rd March 2019, the team of Today Global did surveys in multiple schools in Panvel Region in order to design the roadmaps relating to girl child education. The aim was to reach out to the deserving and needy children and various awareness activities were carried out for wider dissemination of the scheme. Parameters were set and various examinations were organized with participation from various schools in order to identify the deserving ones.
Today Global Developer, with the launch of their much awaited project Utsav City in Panvel, took an initiative to give back to the society. The promoters of Today Global Developers, Mr. Bhadresh Shah and Mr. Bhavesh Shah, believe that, “Education is the best gift you can ever give back to the society.” The inspiration for which came from their grandfather - Mr. Bhogilal Shah. Under this scheme, the selected girl children belonging to classes VIII-X have the opportunity to fulfill their dream of pursuing higher studies.
The initiative received great response and students got selected from various schools and were given scholarship for their studies. Chief Guest, Guest Of Honor & Special Guest during the felicitation ceremony were MLA and Chairman of CIDCO Shri Prashant Thakur and actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
